Dear Colleague, The 2007 Buchanan Lecturer is Professor Ricardo Dobry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He will deliver the Buchanan Lecture at 2 pm on November 9th, 2007 at the College Station Hilton near the campus of Texas A&M University. His lecture is entitled "Pile response to liquefaction and lateral spreading: field observations and current Research". Before the Buchanan Lecture Professor Raymond Krizek will deliver the 2006 Terzaghi Lecture entitled "Dredged Materials Friend or Foe". More details on the lecturers can be found under "This Year's Lecture".
