Command Staff

Command staff positions are established to assume responsibilities for key activities which are not a part of the line organization. These individuals work for and answer directly to the unified command an in most cases the RPIM. In SIMS the essential command staff positions are as follows:

• Deputy Spill Response Manager
• Public Affairs Officer
• Liaison Officer
• Health/Safety Officer
