Demobilization Unit Manager

The Demobilization Unit Manager is responsible for developing the spill response demobilization plan. The plan should include specific demobilization instructions for all supervisory personnel and resources that require demobilization. The Demobilization Unit Manager must also ensure that the demobilization plan is distributed both at the spill scene and at off-scene locations. It is appropriate for this manager to begin his/ her duties early on in the response, particularly in developing rosters of personnel and resources, and in obtaining any missing information from the check-in process.
